    The “China Materials Conference 2024” will be held at the Baiyun International Convention Center in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province from July 8 to 11, 2024. The second World Materials Conference will be held at the same time, covering five major topics including energy materials, environmental materials, advanced structural materials, functional materials, material design, preparation and evaluation.

    The “China Materials Conference” is the annual academic meeting of the Chinese Materials Research Society and one of the important series of brand conferences. It is an academic conference with more than 10,000 people in China’s new materials community with the highest academic level, the broadest fields involved, and the latest cutting-edge dynamics. It is a high-level brand conference that meets major national needs and promotes major breakthroughs in the frontiers of new materials.

    Equipment used for small-scale trials and industrial synthesis reaction research in the materials industry

    1. Pilot and industrialized kettle equipment

      Photoelectric material synthesis direction – kettle reaction equipment

      This equipment is a liquid-solid homogeneous reaction experimental device with a design temperature of 150°C and a design pressure of 1.5MPa. The main body of the reactor is made of 316L material, and the part in contact with the material is sprayed with PFA; the MCGS human-machine interface is used to display and control all functions and parameters of the equipment. The high and low temperature integrated circulation temperature control device developed by Kemi is used to accurately control the temperature in the reactor and freely set the delay insulation time.

      Ternary Precursor Reactor System —— Ternary Precursor Reactor Equipment

      The ternary precursor reaction is used to synthesize the precursor, which is mainly achieved by complexing and co-precipitating the salt solution, alkaline solution and ammonia solution through a metering pump in a certain proportion. The system can accurately adjust and control parameters such as temperature, pH value, pressure, feed rate, stirring rate, etc. The volume is 1L-5000L and can be customized.

      2. Pilot and industrial furnace equipment

        New energy battery material preparation/activation direction —— Kilogram-level carbon material heat treatment rotary kiln

        It is mainly used for hydrogenation activation of battery cathode materials, with a single processing volume of no less than 8L, which solves the problems of uneven activation, inconsistent products and low repeatability in the mass production of cathode materials. It mainly involves research on iron phosphate and ternary precursors, lithium iron phosphate, lithium cobalt oxide and ternary cathode materials, graphite, phosphoric acid, etc.

        3. Fixed bed reactor

          Organic silicon materials direction – one gas one liquid fixed bed catalyst evaluation device

          This device is a floor-standing reactor, which is used to explore the performance of different catalysts in the direction of organic silicon monomers. The reaction tube heating method adopts an electric heating furnace, which is divided into three temperature zones. The temperature field in the constant temperature zone is uniform and the temperature is stable; the reaction preheating system adopts a preheating oven structure, and the temperature field in the oven is evenly distributed, which can ensure that the feed is fully preheated and mixed; real-time monitoring of pressure and temperature, with a first-level/second-level alarm joint control, over-temperature and over-pressure automatically trigger protection actions to ensure experimental safety and support remote control.
